In chapter
5, Holden spends time with Mal and Ackley, after they meet, Holden have to composition
because Stradlater asked. The composition topic is Allie’s glove. Holden tries
to describe about Allie and his glove. Allie is Holden’s younger brother. He
died because of leukemia. He is smart in family, and as such every teacher
always happy because he is clever boy; also they send the message to his
mother. His hair color is red. When Holden was 11 years old, he slept in garage
and broke all windows in garage, because his brother died. His mother took him
to check his mind. Nowadays, he cannot clench his fist perfectly because he
hurt when he broke the window. In our opinion, in chapter 5, Holden miss his
younger brother, also he dislikes his brother because of his ability. We felt
he is very immature when I read about Holden break the windows because his
brother died.
In
chapter 6, When Holden finished the composition, Stradlater comes to his room. Stradlater
was on a date with Jane while Holden does composition. Stradlater checks the
composition paper, then he gets angry because Holden describes about glove.
Holden gets angry too, and then he tears the composition paper. Stradlater
touches Holden make upset and they fight. In chapter 6, when we read about
fight situation, when we read about fight situation, If we have something
problem with friend at any situation, I think friend always need person to
me, but Stradlater acted very wrong to Holden and these acting is not friend’s
acting. He does his acting so badly that make Holden angry. Thus, I think
existence of friend once more and realize varied of friend

ReplyDeleteIn chapter 6, Stradlater fight to Holden, because Holden don't believe Stradlater date with Jane,such as Stradlater don't tell what do they. Finally lose Holden in fight Stradlater. Unfortunately, I had never experience in this case, but I understand Holden's mind. I think Holden's mind is full of angry, confuse, and doubt.
ReplyDeleteThe point of a "philosopher" for this blog. Holden doesn't believe staradlater date, but stradlater doesn't say to holden. It is a wrong too. At this point, why stradlater doesn't say their date to holden? This is first Question. Next, why holden doesn't believe their date? This is second question.
DeleteI agree with your some opinion, but Stradlater is Holden's friend. Why are you doubt about Stradlater? Stradlater maybe has personal circumstances. even if Stradlater do not say about date, is fight the best way in that situation?
DeleteIn chapter 6, Holden like to jane. However, stradlater met jane. So Holden upset for him. Finally Holden fight to stradlater. So holden lose to stradlater. I have experience this situation, but i believe my friend. So i am do not understand him. I think this situation is very wrong because although you have any situation, you should be believe your friend. That is real friend.
ReplyDeleteIn chapter 6, after stradlater date with Jane, Stradlater get angry to Holden,because Stradlater request Holden to right the home or room thing but Holden writh the globe thing. So Holden angry too and he take a drag. Finally they fight. That situation I understand both person mind. Holden know writting what Stradlater want but he change the topic. That is Holden's fault. Stradlater didn't do a homework himself that is Stradlater fault.

ReplyDeleteIn chapter 6, Holden fight with his friend is Stradlater. When I read this paragraph, I remember my experience that is fight with my friend. At that time, I and my friend were very angry each other. I and my friend had homework that should do together, but my friend a lot of times broke promise. In result, we were real friend because we just could understand each other and apologized at the same time. In chapter 6, stradlater did wrong behavior to holden. I think if stradlater just apologize to holden, holden could understand him becuase they were friends.
