In chapter 9, when Holden got off at penn station, he wanted to call anyone, but he had no one to call. He rode in taxi and told to taxi driver a place address where he want to go. Then he was so damn absent-minded, so he told to driver a address that was his house. When taxi was passing park, he noticed what he told to driver. he got to the Edmont Hotel, and he checked in. In there, he watched a lot of strangers, so he thought only he was normality. In hotel, they played with call-girl like hooker. Holden thought that is not good. To analyze, that behavior is one of disgusting things. When Holden has known one girl for two years that girl was more dirty than him. Holden could't understand well about sex. Holden hung on telephone and hesitated about to call Jane.
Anyway he called to Faith Cavendish, and had some short conversatation. Than he failed to drink cocktails with Faith.
When we read this chapter, we think my opinion is same as Holden's think. That behavior is absolutely dirty things. It can not be possible naturally. Oh my god~ how weird peoples they are. We want that they need to shy themselves about thier behavior.
HW(for commentator):If you saw that situation like Holden, what will you do and what kind of think do you have?
If I see this situation, I think that is private tast. My oppinion respect of their taste. Also I think that taste has not right or wrong.

DeleteYeah holden call hooker is illegal. But teenagers can not control himself. I can understand some part. Teenagers have many intersetings.

If I am a Holden, I arrived penn station, after I try to anyone I know for connection, but I don't have wicked mind. On the one hand understand Holden's mind, because he is teenager and alone in New York city.

ReplyDeleteIf I holden and saw that this situation, I thought that this situation is very new world. Since I don't see this situation that they played with call-girl. Although I have curiosity, I go to my room because I have no money and so tired.
